Ingredients
  • 1 cup(s) cooking oil - mazola or wesson
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 3 each beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoons alspice
  • 1 teaspoons cinnimon
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cup(s) flour
  • 1 cup(s) chopped nuts
  • 1 cup(s) diced prunes and juice
Directions

bake 30-40 minutes in 350 oven.

BUTTERMILK GLAZE FOR CAKE

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter
1/2 teasp. baking soda
1 teasp. vanilla
cook 5-7 minutes DO NOT STIR OR BEAT. this mix will vain brown streaks, this is what you want it to do. DO NOT overcook
